Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy details the scheduling, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund guidelines for Nara Functional Medicine & Acupuncture LLC. These guidelines help protect the time reserved for your care and ensure availability for all patients.

 

1. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling

 

To avoid fees, please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This applies to:

 

- Acupuncture sessions

 

- Functional Medicine consultations

 

- NET sessions

 

- Combined sessions

 

Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged the full session fee. No-shows (missing an appointment without notice) may also be charged the full fee.

 

2. Late Arrivals

 

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to remain on schedule. The full session fee still applies, regardless of treatment time used.

 

3. Prepaid 6-Month Programs

 

For 6-month wellness programs:

 

- Payments are non-refundable once the program begins, including monthly and full payments.

 

- Sessions must be used within the program timeframe and do not carry over.

 

- Missed sessions are not refundable, but you may reschedule within the same month if space allows.

 

- No refunds are given for partially completed months or missed treatments. This policy ensures the continuity and integrity of your program.

 

4. Saturday Workshops

 

- Fully refundable if canceled at least 48 hours in advance.

 

- Non-refundable within 48 hours of the workshop, but may be transferred to another date if space is available.

 

5. Supplements, Products & Lab Fees

 

- Supplements are non-returnable once opened or purchased.

 

- Lab fees paid to third-party labs are non-refundable, even if you cancel your appointment.

 

6. Telehealth Sessions

 

Virtual consultations are subject to the same cancellation rules: a 24-hour notice is required; the full fee applies for late cancellations or no-shows.

 

7. Clinic-Initiated Cancellations

 

If we must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to an emergency or unexpected circumstance, you will not be charged. We will offer you the soonest available new appointment.

 

8. Exceptions

 

We understand emergencies happen. Fees may be waived at our discretion in cases of accidents, sudden illness, severe weather, or unexpected family emergencies. We strive to be fair and compassionate.
